"Exercise Your Rights Day"
I have recently spoke on air and to many patriots regarding what we could really focus our attention on in this critical election year. It is obvious that we have not had the impact on our government that we have been protesting and attending rallies for in the last several years. The recent Supreme Court ruling upholding "Obamacare" is a blatant, in-your-face assault on the very underpinnings of our Constitution and Bill of Rights.
In this year alone we have also seen a huge advance in establishing the infrastructure of a complete totalitarian system bent on subjecting all Americans to an Orwellian police-state. Good, patriotic Americans who do not consent in any form to this enhanced abuse are considered "domestic terrorists." Our law enforcement officers, who have also sworn an Oath of Office, are being driven by policies to become the direct underlings of the Federal government. Unless we raise the bar back to the fundamental rights and freedoms we were intended to have, we will soon find ourselves in a very similar situation to the Soviet Union under Stalin or China under Mao Tse Tung.
In what way might we raise this bar? If we believe in the words of the Declaration of Independence and respect and honor the words of the Bill of Rights as they were intended, then what action can each of us take. The answer is simple, Exercise Your Rights!
What we need to
see is a single day when, simultaneously, people blatantly exercise their
rights that are being infringed upon, which is most of them.
Remember back on September 12th, 2009, when 2 million Tea Partiers and 9/12rs converged on Washington D.C. and rallies, averaging 800-1000 protestors each, sprang up all over the country.
What if at every one of these rallies, protestors decided to exercise an infringed upon right; carrying signs and banners proclaiming that they were taking back their rights!
What if they
exercised their right to freedom of speech by protesting without permits on
public property where we have been required to have them (courthouses,
federal locations etc…)?
What if, on that day, they exercised their right to travel, right to work, right to keep what they earn and only contribute to those things they consent to voluntarily?
What if they exercised the right to keep and bear arms with no ifs, ands, or buts?
What if they exercised their right to form Citizens Grand Juries specifically to hold public servants accountable to their Oaths and exercised their citizen arrest powers to arrest those held to have violated their Oath for trial?
What if Churches stood up across the country and renounced their 501(c)3 status and were able to speak out blatantly against corrupt and immoral government without the fear of IRS reprisals?
What if, on that same day, offices of the Department of Public Safety/Department of Motor Vehicles were flooded with envelopes in the mail containing tens of thousands of returned “driver’s licenses” from citizens in their area, because the people know that only commercial drivers fall under their jurisdiction due to the protection of the 9th Amendment?
What if Social Security offices were flooded with returned Social Security cards due to the lie that has been perpetrated when the act states the social security number is not to be used as a form of ID and, as we all know, it is a major ponzi scheme?
What if, at all
public land held as “federal property” (other than federal buildings, bases,
and armories) was occupied by protestors taking back ownership from the BLM
and Forestry Service?
The list could go on and on, but suffice it to say, the illegitimate government would come to a standstill, unable to enforce their unconstitutional laws on so many.
Our military and law enforcement would be standing beside the protestors when it became obvious from all the signs and banners proclaiming the exercise of rights as declared in our Declaration of Independence and guaranteed by the Constitution.
Our “public
servants” would immediately scramble to get out of sight at the sheer volume
of protestors. The police, jails and court systems would not be able
to handle the possibility of processing thousands of Americans, simply
exercising their rights, in every tiny town, village and major city for
their non-crimes.
This will be a
major shift in perspective and ideology for all those who have followed the
progressive and neo-con agenda. When faced with tens of thousand simply
acting out the freedoms we are all guaranteed.
What a glorious
day this will be!
I invite all Americans fed up with the loss of their rights and with a government that no longer operates from their consent, to join with Tea Partiers, Oath Keepers, 9/12rs, 2nd Amendment advocates, those fed up with their loss of privacy due to the massive incroachment on their liberties, to join in this effort for this coming September 12th! During the Federal Convention, on
September 12, 1787,
Elbridge Gerry and George Mason proposed that a committee be appointed to
prepare a bill of rights. This proposal was unanimously rejected by the
State delegations, and in consequence both withheld their signatures from
the new Constitution. Mason wrote his
Objections to This Constitution of
Government which began, "There is no
Declaration of Rights, and the laws of the general government being
paramount to the laws and constitution of the several States, the
Declarations of Rights in the separate States are no security."
The Constitution As The Founders Understood It
Regular listeners know that I teach non-revisionist history. Revisionist history has taught us some blatantly false ideas about the Constitution and especially the requirement, by so many, that the Bill of Rights be added and how that very fact scared the drafters of the Constitution so badly that they were afraid of a 2nd Constitutional Convention completely eradicating the Constitution. I also teach about the 2-year debates over the 9th Amendment in the Virginia ratifying convention. This simple focus should tell us just how important the 9th Amendment was to our founders and highlights the fact that very few of those "unenumerated rights" in the 9th Amendment have ever been addressed as we would probably be MUCH closer to living the level of liberty our founders intended.
